Default Almost New owner

Hi all,
Just put an offer on a 2005 2700se contingent on inspection and survey.
Heading to the PO's marina to look over what seems to be an immaculate lifetime rack stored boat however saltwater use, by all of the pictures we have been provided.

Do any of you have any pointers based on your experience with Maxum's that I need to be on the look out for? Any common issues that need to be addressed if found? Just seeing if anyone has insight to make me a more informed buyer.
This is going to be my first boat owned even though I have been on and around boats for most of my life.
I got the green light from the admiral and it is dam the torpedoes full speed ahead, before she changes course!

Thanks and hope to be posting a picture of my new to me boat soon!
Brad

Welcome aboard

Nothing special to look at because of being a Maxum but I would inspect/replace bellows, impeller, exhaust system. The first two are normal wear items and the exhaust is water jacketed to cool and being salt water these clog from scale or rust out.

You are doing it right by getting a survey and inspection. Good luck and let us know how it goes. Ditto to what Mike said.

As said, there is nothing 'Maxum' specific. Things to look for are general to all boats. It's ok if you don't know. That is what you hire a surveyor for. You look at the boat to determine if you are happy with the condition and layout. This will help you decide if you even want to spend the money on a survey. The surveyor should find the things that would help you decide if you want to proceed with the purchase or walk away.
