Thread: Problem Updating Profile

    Default Problem Updating Profile

    Hello

I am having trouble updating my profile. I go to the profile page, make the changes and click on submit. Clicking submit takes me to this page:

    http://www.maxumownersclub.com/forum/profile.php

This page is totally blank. I go back to the forums and recheck my profile and nothing has changed.

There seems to be a glitch in the system, so to speak.

    Thanks

Thanks for letting me know about that, it seems that the member gallery button feature that I added is causing that problem. I disabled the auto creation of that button until I figure it out. If anyone wants a button added just let me know for now

    thanks

There's a pretty good chance I'm just slow, but I can't figure out how to add an avatar. In settings / Edit Avatar / ...
All I see is "No Avatar Specified" and "Do not use an avatar" which I cannot uncheck. I can't find a place where I can specify a URL for my offsite pic (photbucket).

below your edit avitar ...there is a line that says...option 2: upload image from your computer and browse button..select the browse button and go to the photo you want to add....that will show up in the line and then select "save changes".

that's what I did and it worked for me..

option 1 gives you the choice for a URL, let me know if you dont see it or have problems, this software is new so there will be bugs or I may not have it enabled for you

Thanks guys - but still missing it.

    Maybe a permissions issue? Here's a screencap.

Nimh, try now, the option should be there now. Thanks for letting me know about this problem, let me know if anything else looks out of place

    Thanks
