Welcome to the website....Looks like you have a fixer-upper. A great way to find some of your stuff is to just google (or whatever search engine you might want to use) and that will get you started.

    Look at www.maxumcustomercare.com

Also for canvas look at www.letastopshop.com She has all the old templates and if you know how to put the snaps on, you can save a bunch of money and last but not least go to E-bay.

Brand new boater I would go and take a safe boating course also www.usps.org You will learn all the do's and don't of boating to get you started in a safe course.

Hope this helps and we need pictures for proof.

    Good luck

    Roger

Hi Martin, Welcome Aboard. As for misc. parts, don't discount either West Marine or Defender. Engine and drive parts are all Merc and any Merc dealer can get them for you. MUCH of the other parts on the boats are made by thrid party manufacturers. for example Todd (Company name, not a guy) makes the tables, posts and bases. Many of the parts, such as cleats and latches, hinges and plastics are made by Perko. Lights are made by Oswego. For most parts, you can take it to a West Marine or Defender to find a suitable replacement. (well maybe not defender unless you're in sourthen Ct, but they have a huge catalogue of parts and can order anything they don't show in stock from the vendor if you call).

Unlike cars, boats don't manufacture every single part and much of it is assembled with 3rd party parts.

Best of luck. Look forward to seeing you on the site and out on the water.
