Default Continuous beep with lights on

I have a continuous beep when I have my lights on. Sometimes when I turn one off and turn it back on, it will go away for a while and than come back. Any ideas? Thanks

Hello 3200..............First welcome to the website!...........Where do you boat out of in St. Joseph? The only reason I ask is that we bought our 2001 3000 from the old Maxum/Bayliner dealer in Benton Harbor. Just down the road from Pier 33 right next to the BoatUS store. I believe it is a condo complex now?

When we first started looking for our "new" boat 6 years ago, the admiral and I really enjoyed coming up to St Joseph/Benton Harbor area to look our bigger boat. Still can remember the survey run out on Lake Michigan with the fog in March.

To answer your question I would say you have something mixed up in the wiring with your lights and alarm system. A good electrican could probably run it down for you.

I am trying to think where else a beep would come from.......

It’s such a high pitch sound, I’m having a hard time pinpointing it to one spot. My best guess is it’s coming from the helm.

We are at the Waterfront Marina across from the Yacht Club. We have been boating out of St. Joseph for 2 years now and absolutely love it.

hmm....you turn on the cabin lights and the alarm starts off..sounds like you have a couple of wires crossed or back feeding into the alarm circuit.....that's gonna take some one time to run down...a certified mech. should be able to do it...
