Default 2006 Maxum 2400SE Original Replacement Canvas

    Hi Maxum experts

I have a Maxum 2400SE, year 2006 which is missing its canvas which got stolen.

Do you know anyone who can reproduce one?

We have tried Great Lake Boat Top WWW.GREATLAKESBOATTOP.COM

But they couldn't help us, the only thing we have is a article number from the invoice, 33170 Cockpit cover.

Do you guys know anyone that knows anyone?

    Best Regards

    Peter, Denmark

I find it very surprising that a canvas shop won't do custom canvases. Any decent canvas shop typically does custom canvases. They will come out and take a bunch of measurements, then go back and make one tht will fit. Then they come back and install it. I looked at the site you included. There is a link to "Find An Installer". This tells me that they are more of an OEM manufacturer that will sell inventory they have in stock fron larger production runs and not a custom fabricator/installer.

This should be fairly easy, just keep searching for a custom canvas person in your area.

The original templates used by Maxum were sold. I believe that Leta's Top Shop owns most of the old templates:

    Leta's top shop.
    360-435-3067
    Arlington, Wa.

Obviuosly Leta's will be making from a template and shipping it out to you. There won't be any custom sizing and installation based on your location.

I don't know that I can provide references for Denmark. I hope this helps, though.

I bought the same bought 2 years ago with only the bimini top. I had a local canvas shop create the full enclosure using the bimini top, I dropped the boat off and they custom made the canvas for $1400 in just over a week.

    Default Thx, Guys

Actually, we are the local marine dealer, but...

This Maxum is the only one in Denmark.

    The Danish supplier closed recently.

Our customer will have a complete original canvas and not a custom build, so we will try Leta as you recommend.

    Thx

    Peter
