Thumbs up Finally got it!!!..caution = gun thread

ever since I was in the AF..(where I qualed the m16)...I've always wanted one but never wanted to pay a couple grand for one...well....today my dream weapon has finally come true......thru a buddy at work...who knows a guy who just got his FFL for manufacturing weapons...I got a screamin deal on a custom built m4 version of the m16/ar15.....

now all I gotta do is get some ammo and time to hit the range..gonna be a few weeks before I can get to the range due to schedules and all..but I do plan a range report as soon as I can get to it....I'm pumped about getting this thing the way I want it rigged out now....

    range report guys....

went to the range during my xmas break.....finally got to shoot it and dang was it fun...good grouping at the back of the range...it's an indoor range....fires nicely..good feel on the trigger...the guy that built it did a trigger job on it and installed a trigger similar to my glock....after the first rnd...hold the trigger back and just let up about 1/10 of an inch...hear a click and your ready for the next rnd.....double taps are super simple with this type of trigger.....just awesome....
my wife got me a red/green dot sunoptic's sight for me....and it is just a hair low ...so..had to order the 1/2" spacer for it to lift it above the front sight.....

hemmingways.....it really shoots danged nice...a bit of a bear to clean.....takes a bit longer to clean it than any of my pistols...but overall it's AWESOOOOOOOMMME!!!!!!
