For all you guys out there with mercruiser engines with the stock carbs, that experience one problem after another with the POS stock carb:
The solution I found that works unbelievably great is the redline weber carb. They are matched for the engine you have (either 3.0 or 4.3). I have a 3.0 running a 21 pitch prop. After switching to the webber, I run even steven with a 4.3 for performance. Great starting, great idle, good mileage and just a smooth running foolproof solution to the old carb problems. Anyone else tried the same approach?
