Thread: Horn Cover?

    Default Horn Cover?

I read an earlier post where the cover was preyed off. Anyone know any other way to remove the horn cover on my 2000 2300SC? I checked the anchor locker, and it is solid - no way in to the horn area. I can't sam to get into it from the berth. I am stumped. Any help is appreciated!!

actually I think it's screwed in from inside the to the horn cover .....you might need to gain access to the anchor locker from the inside.....

but to make sure..I'll try and find out from my shop...

If is uses the same horn as my 2004 2400 SC3 then the cover simply prys off, and then there are two phillips head screws that fasten the actual horn to the boat.

Just replaced mine a few months ago.

Where did you get the replacement? Mine is sounding a little weak.

    Hey Jerry,

Mine was completely dead and I wanted a direct replacement. I pulled it out so I could find out what brand/make/model it was then started web surfing.

Found it online at West Marine.
