Default Need help with newly purchased Maxum 2100SR

As the title says, I purchased a 2100SR. It has a few flaws that I would like to address. First being, is there a place where I can get a manual of some sort for this boat? 2nd The steering has about 3 inches of play. How can I tighten this up? The loosness appears to be coming from the linkage directly attached to the wheel. Thank you.

Welcome to the forum. http://www.maxumcustomercare.com/ should have something to help you for an owners manual. As for the linkage issue I will defer to those on here with much more knowledge than I. Congratulations on your new boat too!!

Thanks! I've looked at Maxum's site and cannot find manuals that date back that far? Farthest that dates back is 1994.
