Begging from Bella Sera

Ok, I've had quite enough of this pathetic seat engineering in the port cockpit seating and am going to be making some winter mods.

Naturally I'm going to the expert on this site who obviously researches things better than I. Bella, where and what did you get when you replaced your bench seat with the two independant chairs? Any advice or things you would have done differently. I've now tried to fix my bench 6 times and I'm done.

Also, can you enlighten me over your choice of helm chairs and again is there any advice you'd give me before making a similar mod?

They're great to use on and off the boat as Havamax pointed out. The most comfortable dock chairs Ive sat in.

Sorry there pal I wish I could help you. I searched high and low on the net and couldn't find what I wanted as far as a height adjustable seat mount. So I had to play Mcgiver and make it myself.

Bunny suggested sitting on top of a pile of phone books? Sorry just kidding. Don't know what else to tell you there T'shep'

Just a quick thought maybe you should look at what the truckers use or loaders operators. The base to there seats are adjustable in all directions including the weight of the driver
