As of October 3rd we have spent 85 nights on board this year, cruised 161 hours for 813 miles burning 709 gallons of fuel. The genny has ran 281 hours.
Thanks Steve, David.
Took a while to do because of all the wood work but am pleased with the results, and I enjoy the working with my hands. Fortunately those are still intact - I only blead 3 times during the course of the project!
We figure on down-sizing in probably 10 years. When we do I really hope for water front property.

I've only been with my girlfriend a few months,, and previous to my arrival,, she only put maybe 5 hrs, on the boat all summer,,, but stayed at the dock every weekend. Now,, with me around,, neither wanting to feed my "go fast" boat,, ,we have been out running probably 25 hrs since labor day weekend. We are planning on going somewhere every weekend next season,,, even if its just across the Chesapeake Bay somewhere. The maxum is a nice boat,, economical with the 5.7's and plenty of "nice-nice" for staying out over nite.
Very nice but be careful. If it is too nice and comfortable you may never get back on the boat.
This past weekend we went to Ohio to visit our oldest son, wife and three grandchildren. We had a fabulous time but for the first time in 15 months we did not spend at least one night on the boat. So far we have stayed 98 nights onboard this year so there will be no problem reaching 100 nights before the year ends.

Hope everyone had a great holiday and wish everyone s safe and happy new year.
We spent the spent the last two nights of the year on the boat for a total of 105 nights on board. We cruised 937 miles over 186 hours averaging 5 MPH. Burned 781 gallons of regular through the engines. Ran the genny for 319.7 hours burning roughly 138 gallons of regular.
We have a list of things we need to do around the house so I doubt if we'll surpass 100 nights this year. We will give it our best.
