1992 Maxum 1800SR. Bought new at the St. Louis Boat & Sport Show in Feb '92 and closed the deal. Received from the dealer and brought home on April 15, 1992. Boat passed 1000 hrs of operating time last summer and continues to perform well. So happy I bought the Maxum and not the Bayliner which had been considered.

Have had Bayliner's before and they were great boats. Now we have a 2001 Maxum 3000SCR and it is a dream come true. Going on our fifth year of ownership with the Maxum and it is a fantastic boat.

Looks like FUN! Makes my little 18 ftr look like a toy, but I love it. Don't know how to add a photo to my posts but I have uploaded some to my album which is public. I'm located 25 miles south of St. Louis, where in central Illinois do you hail from? "Go Big or Go Home"

deanries............My wife and I boat out of Wharf Harbor Marina in Peoria. We were headed up to a fantastic beach that day. Our friends (in their boat)Lar amd Markie took a bunch of pic's. I have one pic crashing through the wake. cool

I looked on the map where the Kaskaskia Rover comes out to the Mississippi River near St. Genevieve. Is that your neck of the woods?. After looking at your pic I know my son would like your boat. Do alot of wake boarding?

Wife and I are coming down to the boat show in St Louis that friday........can't wait!

seapuppy - Big Thanks for posting the photo of my boat. Yeh, that's my '92 1800SR. Where does one learn how to add attachments to a post? I'm trying to learn, slow but sure! "Go Big or Go Home"

    biggerseager -

Thanks for the reply. Haven't been that far up the Illinois but have been to your beautiful city a few times. I'm too slow at this post thing and keep getting logged off and lose what I've entered.
Send an E-mail to our address: sharondr@htc.net and I'll get back to you on maybe a get-together in St. Louis. Would be great, as soon as this crappy weather is over!
Can't wait for warmer weather and getting back on the water.

Dean..posting a pic is really easy..but you have to be careful of it's size...sometimes if they are big..they won't post....when you go to reply or quick reply..at the top bar, towards the right of the line of icons..there's a bubble...a film ...and then what resembles a picture frame....select that ...it will prompt you for an http address....that is where your picture is located on either here or some other site...we can't post directly from your computer.....copy and paste the address the photo is located ..ensure that it has an ending of ".jpg"..like in http//:someplace in the web location.jpg......when it comes into your post it will say [img][img].....your address should be between the two ctr brackets.....
that will be in the address bar on the prompt.....select ok ...and it should slide it right into your posting...

    hope this helps...

seapuppy - I'll give it a try and yeh I've already learned about the sizing thing. Photo Shop works great in that respect for me. If I post more pic's to my album then I can grab/attach to a post from there? Like you did for the above post. Appreciate your help bunches.
