    Yes, we do splash it in the ocean when conditions permit. I have put about 58 hours on the boat since we got it new in August last year and about 50% of that time was on the ocean. The 1900 seems to handle light chop and small swells pretty well so I would think yours would even do better. If too rough, we stay behind the breakwater and cruise the marina - still enjoyable. Admiral and I love the ocean. Haven't yet ventured too far out yet - we keep the shoreline in sight but have cruised up and down the coast 8-10 miles each way. Am considering a run to catalina this season - again conditions permitting. Most important thing to do is AFTER retrieval, flush the engine on the muffs and use "salt away" for the last minute or so. I do this after EVERY salt use. Helps with corosion. Also, I clean all of the SS with salt away too after each use. Sorry it took me so long to rspond but I just noticed your message today.
