Cool. Thanks for the response! Some of the guys from work are taking a fishing trip the third week of April and I was going to take my boat too. There will be two other boats in the group and now I'll feel a lot better about taking mine. I guess I'll just stay in close on the rougher days. Again thanks for the input and any more suggestions would be great!
  2. Yes, we splash it in the ocean when conditions permit. It handles light chop / small swells pretty well. We don't venture too far out yet (keep coastline in sight) but have cruised 8-10 miles up and down the coast. Important thing to do after salt water use is to flush the engine afterward. I run it on the muffs for about 10 minutes (using "salt away" for the last minute) after EVERY salt water run. Sorry, it took so long but I didn't see your message until today. Good luck.

Just a quick question. Do you ever take your boat in the ocean? How about the bay? would you recomend this for a 2100SR? Would it be a good idea to only go out on calm days? Mostly I guess I just want to know it its a terrible idea. Thanks
