Seapuppy, I happened to see a post where you said the 6.2 single was fine for the 2700 scr. I've seen other posts where people say it was underpowered...I'm in the throws of deciding right now.

    Is yours an MPI?

    Thanks, Mark

Heard from some of the Dags people that your boat is back to new! Hope you and Marsha are back to new as well!

Hey Steve............I don't mind having a little bit of fun with all this and I guess I got sucker punched on my own thread, but this is becoming ridiculous. I must be the only democract boater in the Northern Hemisphere. Next time I know exactly what to do....................

Angie had a GREAT time, as did I. She just finished reading the rendezvous thread, along with your log, and she agrees how lame the "art walk" was. I hope Marsha had a good time too! I culled down the pics for the forum (and that 4 pic/message limit, nudge nudge) but here are some of the others.

Sorry I missed your call tonight. I was fighting traffic on two wheels when it came in, wrapped up in a little too much ballistic nylon for this level of heat. C'mon 75 degrees!

Sounds great, Steve. Ya'll have fun this weekend and I hope Marsha is feeling better.

Keep your eye out for the blow boater race in front of POE this evening. My buddy and his son are on one of the Sea Scout boats (marked on the hull aft) and the race-start appears to me as semi-controlled chaos. They'll likely be taking up the entire channel West of the gas dock between 6 and 6:30. Don't make the mistake I did and attempt to navigate up the channel while this is all going on!

I'm off today so I'm headed down to Dags to give the ol' girl a quick wash job.

Jeebus.. I've missed this message. Sorry Steve. I stink at this.

Glad to hear things went well with your weekend in Everett last weekend. I left a v-mail for you earlier today - We're still planning on Port Ludlow next weekend, and I just PM'ed Rich. We should be over there before 3pm with any luck. Let me know what you need from me regarding reservations or help. Depending on your schedule, we always could rendezvous and make the journey together, IF we can keep up with that boat of yours.

Like I mentioned in the voice mail - we're headed to Blake Island tomorrow afternoon and if the wind picks up and upsets our anchorage, we'll move to Bremerton for Saturday eve for some fancy eats and hopefully watch some live music. If you're out and about, please... the two of you, join us. We have a dinghy so we can paddle the pups to the shore if need be.

made it to the boat

well...this being our first time that maxums got together out here...I have to say it was a success.....only 2 other maxums and our maxliner got together at a small marina in the Kitsap pennisula...well protected and the service from the dock crew was outstanding.
the wife and I got off friday and after work thursday evening..ran to a spot where we could look out below Whidbey island and check the water conditions....it was awesomely flat and smooth...not a ripple to be found...so..the wife

Seattle Boat show

by seapuppy on 01-29-2010 at 12:38 PM
the seattle boat show was pretty pitiful...I mean...there were some nice boats there but not like past yrs..
First off..we get to seattle to the hiway turn off and traffic is stopped..construction in the city has the traffic all buggered up...(I really hate driving in the city but since it's a necessary evil...I do it...but I've driven in SF, LA, SD,Texas, New York....etc...I know how to drive in the city).it was slow going to Quest field but....we finally get to the show and we meet up with
