I am getting a helm alarm when I am between about 3,000 to 3500 rpm. It goes away when I've got it throttled over 3500. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Mike

yeah...check your outdrive reservoir ....your engine oil....and watch your temps..cuz that's the only thing that can cause the alarm to go off.....
..also what engine/drive...boat..yr.....and or welcome to the zoo..

Welcome Mike,
I assume by your handle that you're in Virginia. We boat out of Hope Springs in Stafford (on Aquia Creek, just off the Potomac River). I agree with Seapuppy. Alarms like that are almost always indicative of low outdrive or engine oil. Are your oil pressure and engine temp guages showing an acceptable range?
