Hi.My insurance company wants to know what size Hp my engine is.I got my Maxum 2300 SC 1998 last season and I dont know much about it.5.0 Merc.Thanks.

Depending on the exact model they produce between 220 and 260hp.

welcome to the zoo....if it's carbed...it's a 220hp engine...if it's mpi or efi..260hp.....but it should say it on the engine carb cover...
