Hello All,
I have just bought a maxum 2800 scr, 2000 model.

I have damaged the props and I believe the previous owner had the wrong kind fitted. Can anyone tell me the size and pitch of ideal stainless steel propeller??

She is currently fitted with:
4.30 mercruisers (carbed) the outdrives are bravo 2 legs

Any help would be greatly appreciated, the dealer network is unable to give me a straight answer.

Cheers
Nigel

Nigel...welcome to the zoo...nice boat...I have the 2700scr with a b3 drive......
the first question I'm going to ask is what is the pitch and size of the prop now...the one you damaged...15x21??.....15x19??..etc...
then what was your wot rpm...wide open throttle??...
and then finally...what sized prop is on the other engine....
that will determine what size you should have on it..
and finally what does the spec say the WOT should be??
.so ..naturally if you change one prop..your gonna need to change the other to the exact same prop......
