I think a 2300sc would sit ok on the sand without too much lean. Anyone ever try it?

Good pic :D

I have another extreme example I will have to dig from the archives. My parents lived a number of years in Halibut Cove, Alaska. Its across the bay from Homer, boat or fly only. The tides up there vary as much as 33-34 feet! I have a pic of their 22' whaler 'beached' below their house and it took two ladders to get up to it from the shore. It was blown into shore by a storm and they were worried it would 'slide' off the shelf of land it was on.

Oh ya, I think your 'beaching' would be stable given soft sand and the hope that the tide would indeed return.
