1990 scr2700 fixed skylights

Any ideas on where I could get replacement fixed skylights on my 1990 scr2700. There are 2 of them on the bow, they are tinted. I have a large crack in one of them. Thanks ,Larry

Doing this right now on my 1991 2300 SCR. My 2 skylights are perfectly flat and approx 14 inches by 24 inches. Mine had many cracks. I took them out on a hot sunny day preserving all the broken pieces and "mounted" each one on a piece of cardboard for transport. Took them to a local plastics specialist and they cut me 2 new ones for about $215. I did ask that the 6 screw holes be made just slightly larger. Put them in yesterday (again hot sunny day) and they fit perfectly. Now just have to top up the chaulking all around them and clean up the old duct tape glue. mike

I assume Bolia is referring to the curved, non-opening skylights on the 2700 SCR, rather than two flat hatches. I am not sure who could make the curved ones, but I am definitely interested in replacing mine.

I have added some pics to "Help installing new skylights-gaskets and sealant" . Again mine are strickly flat but think a plastic specialist could make and curve new ones.

Can't believe you have actually payed $215 for 2 pieces of coloured plastic ?
that must have been including all the work done
i had all my back windows of my Range Rover cut in dark coloured plastic. kost me € 80 in total
that guy must have been having a good day
that's what i encounter everytime when having an issue with the maxum
when it's about a boat people tend to ask way to much

Note that the original skylights were quite damaged. There was probably some significant work necessary to plot correctly the 6 holes in each skylight as these areas were significantly damaged before and after removal.

Rens: live near Nijmegan? Did the 4-Daagse Afstandmarsen in 1999 & 2001.

Ok that's clear
my skylights seem to be painted or matted (but they are in one piece)
from the inside there's no way to look out.
is that normal ?????
was thinking of replacing them myself with very smoke coloured plexiglass

distance is very relative
Nijmegen is about an hours drive but have never done the 4 days walk.
people tend to visit various places in the world and forget in the meanwhile there's something special only a small drive away

like i'm looking at a very nice looking A**e walking by at the moment
why wait till i get home
