I'M LOOKING FOR A MANUAL FOR A 1998 MAXUM 2800 SCR, SINGLE 7.4 AND IF ANYBODY HAS HAD ANY PROBLEMS I SHOULD LOOK OUT FOR. I LIKE TO KNOW ALSO IF ANY BODY HAS ANY ADVICE ON A WINDLASS FOR THE BOAT. THANK YOU, NEW OWNER.

Welcome to the zoo.....the 2800 SCR is a nice boat..similar to mine...


you can contact Maxum and they will send you an owners manual...gotta have your HIN number on the swimstep...

and as far as the windlass goes...what do you want to know?...does it have an anchor and chain and rhode??...it's pretty easy ...make sure the bitter end is secured in the chain locker so when you pay it all out...you don't loose your anchor.....and line....
I've used mine a few times and the windlass is great.....I have a switch on the bow and on the dash.......works great....
