This is almost embarrassing...

I am missing several screws on the railing (those in the railing section, NOT into the boat itself. I have been to Lowes and to West Marine to find replacements. Think I get close then they strip or break off. Any clues as to the type of screw that are supposed to be used on the rails.

And for what it is worth, just spent a beautiful weekend at Silver Beach Marina (Lake Coeur d' Alene, ID and it appears that summer is indeed here at last.

Can you not remove one of the existing screws to match it up Mike?

That's exactly where I started. i pulled an original, took it to Lowe's and an Ace hardware to match up. Results not good. That's why I feel like a dolt. That should have been the end of it.

try taking a bolt or screw to west marine or a marine store near you..you want to get stainless steel screws...I don't know the threads and all but they aren't super difficult to match up...
