Just bought a 2008 2500se and want to install vhf and gps.
Anysuggestions where to run the pwer leads to?

the fuse block down below the dash ...or tap off the aux or spare switches...some gps's like to have a switch to turn on and protect.....that's what i did....we use one of 3 spares as gps, depth finder and vacuflush .....

Thanks, but I don't have a fuse box below the dash.
They are located in the aft cabin

How do you get to the wiring.

The easiest way would be to remove the helm switch plate and access the backside of the switches from there. Interesting that they placed the 12V fuse bus in the mid-cabin. It is directly below the helm, but not so easy for Aux. wiring.
