Fresh water pump, stereo, cabin lights only work via battery

Launched today and all went well. But I can't remember something. Everything on the shore power panel (fridge, water heater, battery charger, microwave, range, electrical outlets) all works with shore power. But I thought I remembered the cd player, fresh water pump to sinks and stuff, and the cabin lights working off shore power also. They work but only via the battery. Is that right? Have a 1998 2400 SCR

exact-amundo!!!...all lights and fresh water pumps...navlights...vhf....cd/radio......house lights are all 12vdc.......
all 115vac devices are on shore power.....the fridge can be used on both 115vac/12vdc.....

sweet thanks. couldn't remember and thought I was going crazy. got her in the dock and all hooked up for the season. just sitting in the marina and relaxing is enough for me!
