constructed this bbq bracket from 48" x 1" dia ssteel tubing and floor mounted self draining fitting, works great, can handle the weight, is able to swing aprox 180 degrees to allow placement in many directions. pole pulls out easily when finished to allow for storing in locker. kept the floor fitting as far as i could from heavy traffic zone to avoid stubbing of toes.

I think I may steal your idea.
I have a 2006 2600SE and there is no good place to put a grill. There are no rails in the aft area or port/starboard side. I could put rod holder type of mount.
Which grill is that.
I can't make up my mind between the round kettle Magma type or rectangular Newport Magma. It looks like there are far more mounting option for the round kettle type. However you mounted the rectangular with one mount onto your pipe. Was that a magma mounting adaptor or something fabricated?
Also, can you reach the grill for cooking when it is swung in the all the way out position?
Thanks

Heres a BBQ bracket idea for 3300SCR owners, or Maxums designed with Lazerette doors on the transom swimstep. This is what I came up with. Works very well and the best part is that the bracket arm and and reciever are standard Magma BBQ mount parts. Makes me hungry just looking at these pics from this weekend!! One safety note I will point out is wherever you place your BBQ bracket make sure that it is located on the opposite side as your gas tank breather vent for obvious reasons....http://i789.photobucket.com/albums/yy177/BELLASERA3300SCR/100_0823.jpg

Hey Ed,
Hoe doet u? I made a rib-eye steak for you this week end but you never showed up? They were delicious though. Had some nice oven baked potatos and garlic bread from the galley oven, it was heaven served up with a nice Shiraz to go with it.
Take care and enjoy that boat with your honey!
