Just before the Holidays I had found the 3D Maxum letters (MAXUM) as well as the 1997 10th anniversary decals online at Great Lakes Skipper. It seems that the announcement of the closing may have made these items a commodity. Of course I procrastinated on purchasing them. Now it seem Great Lakes Skipper is telling me they no longer have those items in stock.
Does anyone have an idea of where I might find these items?

Update, I did manage to get hold of Maxum directly who tell me they still stock the MAXUM letters. However they no longer have 10th anniversary decals. Now I'm REALLY kicking myself for not buying the replacements when I had a chance. Let this be a cautionary tale.

Never underestimate what some stickers can do.... Make a 95 look like a 2005! :)

The new decals look great. I think if I end up losing or breaking a letter I will change them to decals.
For your next project, you may want to remove the carpet on the trailer steps. As you can see it holds a lot of water and causes rust. I replaced mine with a composite decking material and stainless steel bolts.

I had that identical boat and experienced the same problem. I had to be very careful at the launch. You would think that Maxum would have put a little more thought into putting their logo in that location. I don't think the people who design boats ever owned one. Well Good luck with that! Nice boat by the way. Is that a 97?

Those look sharp, I really like that.
tglee, that is pure genius. I launched mine last summer only to watch my rear step float past me. The screws holding it on had rusted! Seems they were not stainless, just plain old screws.

Those look Great, can you give me any information as to where you found these decals? I am gearing up for the spring and would like to do similar to my 99 2300SC.
Thanks, Whiskey River

I think the vendor is not selling in the course of a business unless otherwise stated. The prospective purchaser is strongly recommended to check the particulars and where appropriate, at his own expense, to employ qualified agents to carry out surveys, structural and/or mechanical & electrical.

I know this thread is old but will join in anyway. Just ordered the same graphics from phil for delivery to Ireland. They look great, we'll see how they look on the red/purple coloured maxums.
