Just got this boat, love it however last night when pulling up to the dock after a 30 minute run we got an audible alarm. We stopped for dinner and when we restarted the boat the alarm sounded again. We checked the engine oil level and it was fine and there were no other idicators other then this alarm. When we got to cruising speed the alarm stops but it starts back up once we drop below cruising speed or are idling. Thoughts. Only 30 hours on the engine.

Thanks, would the alarm have gone off though when we went faster even if we didn't fill that? Another mention was an idle control motor? Stinks to have spent money on a new pre-owned and right back where I was when I sold the 93 one a month ago.

it could cause it to pressure to increase and the bottle to expand a hair.....might be the oil sender is corroded a bit too...clean that off...check the temp sensor connection...might be dirty there too....

filled drive oil res and alarm went off, ran for 20 min and then slow run for 20 and then ran for another 2 when pulling back into tte slip the alarm sounded again. Filled tank again and then did a 10 minute run and needed to add more. All said and done added nearly a full bottle does this sound about right or does it sound like there may be a leak.

Just find a mechanic to plug it into a diagnostic machine. My money's on the IAC motor. Should be about $100.
